Pintada como uma hippie radical, todos os canais procuram-na para fazer uma reportagem com ela. Mas o seu filho resolve ir atrás das histórias de vida dela e escrever um livro sobre ela. Com várias outras narrativas paralelas, que se encontram no final, todos os personagens são muito interessantes. A história de vida da mãe vai se revelando aos poucos, deixando o leitor vidrado no livro. Mais uma vez, o destaque são os personagens: desde enfurecedores até carismáticos, todos eles são muito humanos (explorando uns, ajudando outros, machucando pessoas amadas, sendo machucados).
