Nessa história é possível ver um outro lado do Batman, se tornando violento, aquilo que ele tanto temia, e com profundo medo e arrependimento por não ter conseguido salvar o robin (Jason Todd), tendo que lidar com tudo sozinho. Batman se ve traumatizado e com medo de ter um novo parceiro.
Uma das melhores histórias em quadrinhos que eu já li sem duvidas.
