O livro é agradável, sem uma história grande, serve para o propósito de distrair a cabeça.

Valentine eu achei que era uma rica mimada arrogante. Menciona não sei quantas vezes durante o livro o quanto é rica.
Ela tem um blog onde conta suas aventuras amorosas com mais detalhes possíveis para incomodar sua família pretensiosa. O lance é... Ela é igual a família dela.
Como está entediada com os caras que sai atualmente, Valentine quer variar o cardápio e tentar pegar homens diferentes dos metrossexuais de seu meio de convívio.
E parte para o Alaska.

Lá ela encontra Logan, o xerife/prefeito e cidade.
Um cara tipo Henry Cavill, lindo de viver! Logan é um cara legal, simples, simpático, nada metrossexual.

E Valentine faz sucesso na cidade, marca encontros com os rapazes e começa ali uma aventura atrás da outra (não sexual gente haha), cada encontro é totalmente diferente do que ela está acostumada e eles acabam e maneiras inusitadas.
Isso inclui dançar bêbada em cima da mesa, brigas de garota e claro, uma noite na cadeia.

Quando ela começa a se envolver mais e mais com Logan, Valentine começa a ver que pode querer uma vida diferente. Que o Alaska, pode ser o seu lugar feliz e encontrar ali o que ela nem sabia que desejava. Um amor pra toda vida.
Mas isso até Logan descobrir o conteúdo das postagens no blog....

Então... Eu gostei do livro, meu problema foi achar a Valentine uma fútil mimada.
Mas o Logan compensa.
