Cheguei ao final da série. Posso dizer que, apesar de ter começado de maneira tão ruim, a história evoluiu e se tornou um pouco melhor. Até o terceiro volume eu odiva Banford, e como odiava. Ele era um perfeito imbecil mimado. Estava disposto a arriscar a vida de muitas pessoas para conseguir sua vingança mesquinha. Ele tratou Alexandra muito mal. E no dia do banquete em que a ex-amante dele enganou e humilhou Alexandra eu queria matar ele. Mas com o passar do tempo os sentimentos mudaram e nem sei dizer quando exatamente Alexandra despertou e se tornou uma mulher decidida tornando Banford dependente emocional dela. Então houve amor, traição e vingança. Aliás, traiçao tem de monte, nunca tantos casos numa história, nao dá pra confiar em ninguem no castelo.
Enfim, do quarto livro em diante a história realmente começa a ficar melhor e até gostei do final.
Se quer passar o tempo recomendo, mas ja aviso que há gatilhos.
Houve cenas bem violentas que mostram a crueldade de uma época em que se vivia no "olho por olho" .
