Romance of the Three Kingdoms written by Luo Guanzhong in the 14th century, is a Chinese historical novel based upon events in the turbulent years near the end of the Han Dynasty, and the Three Kingdoms period (220-280). It is possibly the most famous and important novel in classic Chinese literature. Not only is it the earliest of the ""Four Classical Novels of Chinese literature "", but it created a complete cultural phenomenon whose impact is still fresh today.

Essa edição é resumida, possui todo o enredo, porém o texto é bem mais enxuto e trechos com diálogos em primeira pessoal são resumidos para descrições em terceira pessoa.
O enredo da obra original é muito "pesado" no sentido de grande quantidade de personagens e tramas interligadas.
Posto isto se quiser uma versão mais enxuta para ter ideia dos fatos da história é válido. Mas perde vários trechos poéticos e diálogos clássicos da obra.
