É nada mais do que um breve relato sobre uma viagem muito difícil e corajosa feita pela familia Wilder. Mas o que eu mais gostei desse livro foi ler o complemento escrito pela filha deles, a Rose, que pode partilhar um pouco o que foi ter vivido tudo isso pelos olhos de uma criança. Além de dar um olhar único a sua mãe, Laura.
