In London lives a man described as “harmlessly mad”, for the weirdest thing he does is screaming when the bells ring. He wishes to get isolated from the people to the required minimum, answer no questions, he tries to put on a mask of joyfulness, but quite unconvincing. His new neighbor is called William, a young man, who has been interested in a book called Necronomicon for a very long time, and as he gets it, he wants to decipher its pages as soon as possible, but the help of the odd man next door is needed. And as the gray haired man sees the book, he begins to tell his tale, that may be far beyond our imagination.

Acho honestamente difícil resenhar essa história, porque ela pra mim é um pedaço.
Tendo lido outros livros com contos do lovecraft consegui juntar umas partes pra fazer um todo, porém ele isoladamente é sem contexto.
Acabei descobrindo que aparentemente este é de fato um conto não finalizado. Quando vc le outros você consegue fazer associações sobre esse homem que ouvia os sinos e sobre o livro, enfim.
Acho que é uma leitura de nem 5min, mas só vale a pena se você estiver afim de explorar várias obras do autor, se não for o caso, sugiro ler outros dele.
