Peter Lund é o nome professor de inglês na escola que Hattie estuda.
Del além de ser o Xerife da cidade é amigo de muitos anos da família da Hattie.
Hattie, além de ser uma aluna brilhante, é uma atriz talentosa e ambiciosa.

Hattie é encontrada morta e a história gira em torno da investigação, quem cometeu o assassinato e por que aconteceu. É uma história de amor, engano, perda de controle, remorso, tristeza e problemas com a auto-identidade.

Eu estava com expectativas muito altas para esse livro e confesso que não me decepcionei. Quando comecei a ler não consegui mais parar. A história me prendeu muito. A cada página e cada capítulo que lia, ficava cada vez mais curiosa e queria saber mais. Um livro excepcional por Mindy Mejia. Os personagens são cativantes, cada um com suas imperfeições e problemas.

É difícil colocar esse livro em um único gênero. Tem de tudo um pouco, suspense, YA, thriller psicológico, crime, investigação, romance e drama familiar. Amei, amei e amei!!!
