Agora adultos e com suas carreiras definidas, Sean é empreiteiro e Tricia é fonodiologa. Eles continuam sendo melhores amigos apesar de morarem em locais distantes. Nesse verão eles terão 6 casamentos de amigos de infância para ir e acabam combinando de irem juntos mas um acidente impede que Sean vá para fazer companhia para Tricia e ele pede que seu irmão mais velho, Ryan, vá em seu lugar.
