Que trilogia maravilhosa!! Quando eu comecei esse livro nunca pensei que ficaria tão envolvida em uma trama política gigante e assustadora, eu pensei que só seria mais um dos romances, mas eu estava muito enganada.

Tal Bauer é um autor que não dá descanso para os seus leitores, esse homem me deixou agoniada, extremamente envolvida na história e torcendo muito para o final feliz de Ethan e Jack, e depois de muito sofrimento (coloca sofrimento nisso) finalmente veio aí.

E falando dos pombinhos, que casal maravilhoso, o amor deles é tão puro que ambos estavam preparados para se sacrificarem se isso significasse que eles poderiam salvar o outro, o romance deles é de tirar o fôlego e quebrar o coração. Eles têm o meu coração.

Bom, não são somente eles que tem um romance de quebrar o coração, pq se tem uma coisa que esse autor gosta é de fazer o leitor sofrer com todos os casais, Adam e Faisal, Sergey e Sasha. Juro, eu já não aguentava tanto sofrimento com os meus casais, nenhum deles tinham um momento de felicidade. E eu amei que o Tal Bauer deu um fechamento para cada um (e um spin off para Sasha e Sergey).

Eu tenho muitos elogios para o Tal Bauer, pq o homem foi capaz de criar uma história MUITO boa, com personagens MARAVILHOSOS e cativantes, e reviravoltas de tirar o fôlego. Também irei sentir saudades dos agentes do serviço secreto, dos amigos do Ethan, dos ajudantes do presidente e da equipe do Adam (estou torcendo muito que Doc e Coleman tenham um livro, eu preciso ver mais de Doc sendo um pirralho). Alem disso, ele conseguiu criar um vilão incrível, que ódio e agonia que eu passei com aquele homem, eu não via a hora de tudo acabar e fico muito feliz que ele teve o final merecido.

Enfim, com certeza virou uma das minhas sagas favoritas e uma das minhas melhores leituras de 2023.
