Cadence didn’t sit down one night and decide that downing two bottles of wine was a brilliant idea. Her drinking snuck up on her—as a way to sleep, to help her relax after a long day, to relieve some of the stress of the painful divorce that’s left her struggling to make ends meet with her five-year old son, Charlie. Amy Hatvany
Amy Hatvany nasceu em Seattle, WA, em 1972, a caçula de três filhos. Ela se formou pela Universidade de Western Washington, em 1994, com licenciatura em Sociologia apenas para descobrir que a maioria dos sociólogos estão desempregados. Logo em seguida ocupou uma variedade de postos de trabalho - alguns dos quais ela amava, como decorar bolos de casamento; outros, que ela apenas tolerava, como recepcionista. Em 1998, Amy finalmente decidiu vender seu carro, deixou o emprego e dar uma chance para escrever livros. Amy passa a maior parte do seu tempo, hoje, com seu marido, Stephan e seus três filhos.
