For the first time in his life, Jaden actually feels something that isn’t pure blinding fury, and there’s no way to control it, or its power.

Livro narrado aos olhos de Jaden, um menino romeno de 12 anos que se acha a maior falha do mundo e prova disso é que seus pais adotivos querem outro bebê.

Ele não sabe o que é amor e também não ama ninguém, afinal, a única pessoa que ele amou, sua mãe biológica, o abandonou.

Porém a viagem ao Cazaquistão não lhe trará só um novo irmão, mas outras surpresas e autoconhecimento também.

Um lindo curto e que você deslancha na leitura. É triste em alguns momentos ao mostrar a realidade de crianças em orfanatos, mas também traz momentos de reflexão do que é o amor, família, com um final feliz e esperançoso. Recomendo a leitura.
