Speechless

Eu não tenho palavras para descrever essa história.
Bem slash, com momentos de sangue espirrando e pele descolando do corpo, The Devil, the Witch and the Whore nos apresenta uma cidadezinha no interior chamada Deal.
Dividido em 8 partes, cada uma das partes se encontra em um pedaço diferente da linha do tempo da história. Se vc fica muito tempo sem ler (como foi o meu caso), vc demora pra pegar no tranco de novo. Mas é simplesmente maravilhosa a forma como tudo vai se encaixando aos poucos.
É uma história fantástica, que me fez ter medo até de pegar o Kindle (e ainda mais pq eu lai antes de dormir rs). Eu via a história inteira se desenrolar na minha frente e os grandes estúdios de TV estão perdendo um roteiro incrível para adaptação. Ia ser lindo de ver isso tomar formas reais.
Apesar de ter vários momentos em que eu não conseguia sequer respirar com o que estava acontecendo, tiveram outros tantos que eu dormi e acordei com o kindle caindo na minha cara, então não da pra dizer que a narrativa é bem fluida.
Ele deixou muitas ~MUITAS~ pontas soltas, então eu realmente espero que algumas se fechem no segundo volume.
Eu tenho um probleminha com essa série pq a autora não lançou o três, então não sei se eu vou ler o segundo agora logo na sequência.
Enfim, parece que eu falei, falei e não disse nada.
É bom? É. Recomendo? Se vc gosta de terror um pouco gore com bastante sangue jorrando e fenômenos que a gente não consegue explicar em 100% se é fantasia ou se é um maluco inventando moda, então sim, recomendo.
Mas ele é um livro lento. Ele vai explicar as coisas tintim por tintim e ela só vão começar a fazer sentido depois da metade.
Mas eu gostei e tô ansiosa pra poder ler o próximo.
