Scott Lynch é um escritor norte-americano de fantasia que estreou com a obra As Mentiras de Locke Lamora, primeiro volume da saga Os Cavalheiros Bastardos (do nome original Gentleman Bastard), tornando-se uma das maiores revelações dos últimos anos. Natural do Wisconsin, teve uma série de empregos até se dedicar tempo integral à literatura. Lynch é também bombeiro voluntário na sua terra natal. O primeiro volume da série Os Cavalheiros Bastardos: As Mentiras de Locke Lamora, foi lançado em português de Portugal pela editora Saída de Emergência e será lançado em breve no Brasil pela editora Arqueiro do grupo Sextante.
