Depois do que aconteceu com Alex e Aiden (na saga the Covenant), Seth continua sua trajetória tentando se redimir de todos os terrores causados no passado. Até que surge Josephine, chamada pelos amigos de Josie e chamada por Seth de Joe (Irritante para ela? Sim! Mas um pouco intrigante tbm). O mundo de Josie vira de cabeça para baixo quando ela descobre que não é uma mortal comum. Agora ela tem que enfrentar perigos nunca imaginados. E, para deixar tudo mais complicado, ela tem que lidar com o irritante, egocêntrico, sexy e misterioso Seth.
