Desenvolve muito bem os conflitos desencadeados pela instabilidade do fluxo. Conhecemos mais sobre a ciência do fluxo e nos vemos dentro de uma guerra de tronos.

Achei o final um pouco anticlimático, numa ficção científica a gente acaba esperando por algo mais espetacular, mas dada a disputa política, na verdade até que foi tudo bem plausível.

E não sei dizer se foi intencional, ou se sou bem o público do autor, mas achei que o livro acaba funcionando ainda mais pra mim por as minhas impressões da Cardenia evoluíram da mesma forma que vai evoluindo para boa parte dos personagens. Mesmo sendo o segundo livro, confesso que a menosprezava um pouco por ela ser a herdeira acidental e foi só durante a leitura que fui percebendo que acidental ou não, quando ela se for tornou a herdeira, ela foi muito bem preparada para o cargo que assumiria.
