Resumão da história: Beulah, a mocinha inocente tem uma irmã gêmea, e a mãe delas acaba morrendo. Antes de morrer, a mãe de Beulah pede para que a filha procure pela Portia Van Allan, uma mulher rica e ao que tudo indica vai ajuda-la. Beulah vai morar com essa mulher que tem um filho, Jasper, do tipo "pego mas não me apego".

Praticamente, Abbi Glines usou a "base" já conhecida pelo os seus leitores neste livro.

Diferente do livro Paixão sem limites no qual eu gostei muito, esse aqui eu não gostei. O casal não tem química alguma, o livro é muito previsível, o segredo me deixou ZERO chocada, pois já estava imaginando algo do tipo...

Mas enfim, se recomendo?
