Judith McNaught
Antes de ter sucesso como escritora, McNaught teve diversos trabalhos, entre eles, foi a primeira mulher produtora executiva em uma estação de rádio da CBS. Seu primeiro manuscrito foi "Whitney, My Love", que escreveu entre 1978 e 1982. Após ter dificuldades à hora de vendê-lo, escreveu e vendeu Tender Triumph a princípios de 1982. Tem vivido em Saint Louis, Missouri. Posteriormente transladou-se a Texas, após conhecer Dallas, enquanto estava em uma turnê de promoção. Atualmente vive em Clear Lake, Texas. Casou-se com Michael McNaught, que faleceu em 1983. Posteriormente casou-se com Dom Smith. Tem dois filhos, Whitney e Clayton. Além de escrever, faz obras de caridade em relação com meninos e o câncer de mama.
