O livro tem uma narrativa muito apressada, a tentativa de fazer uma duologia em que o segundo seria como uma nova etapa e não uma continuação propriamente dita acelerou muito a narrativa. Aliás, tentativa não, pois foram bem sucedides, e nada disso fez a história ser menos incrível. A presença LGBT é linda demais e a existência de um futuro que, por mais que tenha seus problemas, não se importa com sua raça, sua identidade de gênero ou sua sexualidade é algo que deixa qualquer minoria esperançosa pela possibilidade.
