O livro foi escrito e organizado pelo filho da Vita Sackville-West e Harold Nicholson, o que me deixou meio em dúvida do quanto ele *realmente* ia ser fiel à história deles, ainda mais que foi uma história pouco convencional. Mas ele não hesitou de pintar o verdadeiro retrato do casamento deles, que ficou bastante atrativo.

Não vou mentir que li esse livro com o único propósito de saber mais sobre a Virginia Woolf, mas de outra perspectiva (especialmente a perspectiva dela com a Vita). Acabou que a passagem sobre ela foi relativamente curta, o que só não foi decepcionante porque fiquei bem absorvida pela vida da Vita, em especial a mentalidade dela e como ela tinha uma compreensão tão clara sobre ela mesma, apesar da época em que vivia.
