But I’d soon learn Fate had other plans, and everything I believed about who I was would be tested once again. Only this time, I wasn’t so sure I could stay strong.

Eu literalmente acabei de terminar o livro. E meu coração está doendo. Minha cabeça dói. Chorei muito! Confesso que fiquei com medo de ler WHAT LIES BETWEEN. O primeiro livro é um dos meus favoritos de todos os tempos e eu não acho que precisava de uma sequência. Mas como eu poderia saber que existe uma história sobre eles e ignorar isso? Então decidi ler e não me arrependo.

George está ainda mais apaixonado. Ike é o mais belo e perfeito de todos. E Charlotte ... Ela ainda está apaixonada por ambos. Mas este livro fez algo que o livro 1 não fez. Esse fez eu sentir que ela amava um mais do que o outro. Eu a entendo mais aqui, entendi, ok, mas eu amo os dois também. Então eu me senti triste com algumas partes do livro. É por isso que dei 4 estrelas em vez de 5.

Se você tem medo que irá estragar o primeiro livro... bem, para mim, não estragou. Eu amei vê-los novamente. E saber a extensão do que Charlotte poderia fazer e como ela realmente era talentosa. Eu amei o livro. E senti que todos os sentimentos eram reais. Não há como ler e não se sentir emotivo. E como no livro, a vida nem sempre é perfeita, mas tudo se resume a uma coisa ... amor. E apesar de tudo, eu amo esses personagens ainda mais.
