Decepcionada

Comecei a ler este livro sem grandes expetativas pensando que seria apenas mais um enemies to lovers como qualquer outro. Fiquei completamente supreendida no decorrer do livro, principalmente no início, pelo quão bonita estava a ser a história, há muito tempo que não gostava assim tanto de uma obra. Com tudo isto as minhas expectativas foram lá para cima o que não combinou nada com o restante do livro. A autora criou uma relação linda entre os personagens principais apenas para a alterar e torná-la "chata" para os leitores seja através de conflitos irrealistas que nem em livros de ficção ou fantasia são vistos ou através da criação de problemas e mais problemas entre os dois. Isto fez com que cada vez mais eu me fartasse mais do livro e apenas quisesse que ele acabasse. E como tudo tem como piorar o livro acaba com um discurso de amor público horroroso que não faz sentido algum existir tendo em conta o decorrer da história. Odiei também como a holly era sempre rebaixada e simplesmente tinha que "aceitar" porque ainda não tinha provado que estava do "lado dele". Isso para não falar da Rachel que penso sinceramente a única razão pela qual ela foi da forma que foi para a holly foi porque queria ser mais do que melhor amiga do xander e não conseguiu.

CONCLUSÃO:
Não leiam que só vão se decepcionar.
