Attica Locke é autora de Pleasantville, obra vencedora do Harper Lee Prize 2016 e indicada ao Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction. Escreveu também Black Water Rising, indicado ao Edgar Award, e The Cutting Season, best-seller nos Estados Unidos e vencedor do Ernest J. Gaines Award for Literary Excellence. Attica também é roteirista e já colaborou com Warner Bros, Paramount, Disney, 20th Century Fox, HBO e DreamWorks.
