Dinah Jefferies
Dinah Jefferies nasceu em Malacca, Malásia em 1948 e se mudou para a Inglaterra em 1956, aos oito anos de idade. Ela estudou no Birmingham College of Art e mais tarde na Ulster University , onde se formou em Literatura Inglesa . Enquanto na faculdade ela ficou grávida de seu primeiro filho, Jamie, que faleceu em um acidente. A experiência de perder o filho foi a inspiração para o seu romance The Separation.
