Catherine Ryan Hyde
Catherine Ryan Hyde nasceu em abril de 1955 e escreveu mais de trinta livros ao longo da vida. Em suas inúmeras viagens, fez trilhas por Yosemite e pelo Grand Canyon, escalou o Monte Katahdin, viajou pelo Himalaia e percorreu a Trilha Inca de Machu Picchu. Para documentar as experiências, Catherine tira fotos e grava vídeos que compartilha com seus leitores e amigos na internet. Um dos seus livros de maior sucesso é Pay It Forward, que inspirou o filme A Corrente do Bem (2000), com Haley Joel Osment e Helen Hunt no elenco. A obra foi escolhida pela ALA para sua lista de melhores livros para jovens adultos, e ganhou tradução em mais de 23 idiomas.
