Nessa primeira parte de Vicious Minds conhecemos os bastidores da história de Ethan e Ivy, sua futura esposa. Qdo digo bastidores, me refiro a podridão, enganação, traições. Nesses bastidores temos Calliope, uma mulher que desde sua infância estava determinada a casar com Ethan. Ela reaparece anos depois e cria laços com ele. Laços muito conturbados. Juntos, planejam uma série de ações para fortalecer a família mafiosa, principalmente a posição de Ethan como o grande chefe. Realmente, nada é o que parece com essa família mafiosa. Agora entendo pq o primeiro livro dessa série, o do Ethan, não fez jus à autora que tanto gosto. Simplesmente McAvoy quis nos preparar para coisas mais impactantes e ela realmente conseguiu. Adorei! Favoritado! Arrisco a afirmar que foi tão bom qto a primeira série dos pais de Ethan, Liam e Melody.
