Susan Sontag
Susan Sontag foi uma famosa escritora, crítica de arte e ativista dos Estados Unidos da América. Cursou filosofia na Universidade de Chicago e pós-graduou-se em Harvard. Além de escritora renomada, destacou-se por sua defesa dos direitos humanos. Publicou vários livros, entre eles, A vontade radical, Assim vivemos agora, O Benfeitor, Contra a Interpretação e Na América, pelo qual recebeu em 2000 um dos mais importantes prêmios do seu país, o National Book Award. Publicou artigos em revistas como The New Yorker e The New York Review of Books e no jornal The New York Times. Seus livros foram traduzidos para mais de trinta línguas. Além de atuar como escritora, também dirigiu cinema e teatro.
