Não sabia nada da autora, só havia uma resenha e ninguém sabia falar nada sobre o livro. Arrisquei e gostei. É mesmo uma polêmica sobre se ter ou não um bebê em casa como opção e não como necessidade. E isso é até um assunto atual, quando se discute sobre parto na água, doulas e outras modernidades . Não consegui sentir nenhuma simpatia pela Sibyl e muito menos pelo seu modo de vida e fiquei me perguntando mesmo, ao longo do livro, se ela era ou não culpada... Tema diferente do meu habitual. Gostei.
