Orphans of The Book
This book is about one of my favorite tropes in Sci-Fi: generation ships. It's not a perfect book only because I felt that in the middle (50% to 70%) of the book its quality decayed too much and I didn't really feel like something important was going on. Everything else is perfect. The very beginning is a little bit confusing, specially because you only fully understand it at the end. It's so interesting to explore the idea of a confined society, even though they don't even understand they're confined at all. The way they created a new religion based on they low comprehension of a distant past and of the knowledge lost in this process. "Jordan", from Jordan Companies, is Jesus, "Making the Trip" is dying, "Proxima Centauri" is what comes after death... The main character is not that great. But I love the side characters of this book, mainly the muties!! This is a must for any sci-fi admirers!!
