Aleksandr Isayevich Soljenítsin
Foi dissidente soviético e escritor, laureado com Prêmio Nobel de Literatura de 1970. Preso pela primeira vez em aos 20 anos sob alegação de crimes anti-soviéticos, tornou-se mundialmente conhecido por suas críticas ao regime comunista, em especial às prisões de dissidentes. O escritor atingiu a fama mundial em 1962 com 'Um Dia na Vida de Ivan Denisovich', um curto romance que conta a história de um companheiro no campo de trabalhos forçados da Sibéria. Na época, a obra foi considerada um ataque ao regime soviético.
