Junot Díaz
Junot Díaz é um escritor dominicano, naturalizado americano, ganhador do prêmio Pulitzer por seu romance <i>The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao</i> (2007). O romance é sobre uma saga de imigrantes dominicanos nos Estados Unidos. Sua família chegou a Nova Jersey quando ele tinha 7 anos e sua literatura é voltada para a dura realidade dos imigrantes latino-americanos nos Estados Unidos. Díaz é professor de textos criativos na Universidade de Syracuse, além de editor de ficção da revista Boston Review e já recebeu outros prêmios na área, como o Eugene McDermott Award (1998) e o Guggenheim Fellowship (1999). Também é autor dos livros de contos <i>Drown</i> (1996) e <i>This is How You Lose Her</i> (2012).
