Essa é uma graphic novel que concorreu ao eisner a alguns anos atrás, escrita por um brasileiro que vive em Londres... Daí surgiu minha curiosidade em lê-la.

A história tem problemas de contexto pra mim. O autor ao utilizar palavras indígenas brasileiras renomadas demais acaba criando uma sensação de forçação de barra em mim.

Mas o traço é lindo, a narrativa gráfica é ótima, o aspecto mitológico e fantasioso faz com que fiquemos mais tolerantes a todo rolê histórico não tão bem apresentado.

A cereja do bolo dessa gn é o personagem que retrata uma versão mística do Américo vespucio, lembra o juiz holden de meridiano de sangue, o mestre dos magos da caverna do dragão, aquele personagem misterioso que aparece pra virar a chave do rolê.
