Take issue with (a problem which I had and have since overcome: the many and myriad titles of the Mignolaverse can be overwhelming, and even though they aren't all illustrated by Mignola, they all have his name on them, and I assert further, they have his mark. The Mysteries of Unland is the first title without Mignolas
name on it. Do not be discouraged, faithful reader. We are in great hands, perhaps the best in the industry, and Unland proves up to the task of being
counted amongst the rest of the Mignolaverse!
Cheers! And thanks for all the great reads!

Dear Scott, I haven't been with Dark Horse from the beginning, though over the last four to six years I've been enjoying some of the Star Wars arcs and the Hellboy plate of comics. I've gone back and bought some of the trades for Hellboy and B.P. R.D., to catch up on things, and I've been buying the latest Hellboy slew of comics for the last couple of years. Sorry to
hear about the Star Wars decision, by the way. After watching the second movie, I didn't see what the big deal was with the BPRD. After reading the comics, however, I could see where Mike and Dark Horse wanted to go with it, and I was chinking that maybe it didn't translate so well in the shorter format
of the movie. Anyway, the reason why I'm writing since I haven't given feedback on comics for years, even though I've bought them religiously every Wednesday for the past decade at my local comic retailer (and I've collected for decades longer)-is to explain why I'm going to stop buying B.P. R. D. and the new Abe Sapien book. I guess I wanted to display some disappointment in the current angle of B.PR.D. The trades that I bought (to understand what has gone on before let me see the beginning and end of a story, so to speak, with, yeah, some items that will linger on and be resolved later, assuredly, but more or less they were complete end- to-end tales. But then came the juggernaut of The Walking Dead and its unending story of surviving
in a postapocalyptic world overrun with zombies. B.PR.D. has never had zombies, at least not much, but it did have the creeping sensation of an onslaught of Lovecraftian gods and demons threatening our world. I mention The Walking Dead because B.P?R.D.
now seems as dreadfully open ended as that series is. I can understand the concept, I can understand the appeal (and, after going to one of the bigger comic conventions, I get a feel for the possible revenue
