Shoddy Prince

Set in 1890s York. Nat returns from a corrective institution to find his mother has abandoned him. The Maguire's take him in and he finds comfort with their daughter Bright. But he leaves her and their unborn child to seek his fortune in Canada. Years on, he is thwarted in his attempt to see them.
