Singers of Silence (The Nameless Hunter #Two)

Milroyford is the most common and unremarkable of all common and unremarkable towns in the deep English countryside, not too far from the Scottish border. But when tragedy ensues and a lot of people simply vanish in thin air, the town enters the scent-guided radar of the Hunter, and when that happens, you can bet that the peace and ease won't last for long.

Two sisters that could not be more different from each other - an adventurous school girl and a nurse of the local hospital - will get the ride of her lives when neck-bending run against time starts as soon as the Hunter finishes a job on the East and suddenly sees himself heeding the call of old friends that deliver bad news and ominous warnings. They will have to follow a path of weird tales and well kept secrets that will shake the small town to its core and lead to a confrontation that none of them could possibly see coming.

On the wake of that chase more chases unfold as the ever dutiful Constables of Milroyford try to make sense and help the bigger authorities to find out what is going on. Loyalties will be tested, as will their endurance, their faith and mostly the commitments they made about life and the truths they believe in.

As the hands of the clock ticks more dangerously at every second, no one gets unscathed when Silence begins to be sung.
