Caleb é um adolescente, jogador de futebol americano, que "sente" demais, depois de uma briga na escola, junto a uma terapeuta especial, descobre que ele tem a habilidade de sentir os sentimentos de todos ao seu redor. Ele se vê atraído pelos sentimentos de Adam, que sofre de depressão, e que por algum motivo suas emoções o acalmam e são uma âncora pra Caleb.
