It depicts the process of a girl growing up amid violence and abuse from her family, overcoming adversity and growing up.

After the main character, Leslie Sperado, almost loses his life after being offered as a sacrifice by his family, he visits the Selvator family, known as the 'monster family', asking them to 'adopt' him in order to survive.
