The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Volume 1, is the history of Blacks and Jews from the Columbian era to the Civil War and includes the extensive record of Jewish slave-trading in the western hemisphere.

Drawing almost entirely from Jewish documents, the first volume of this series (1991) reveals that Jews came to the Americas as slave traders, auctioneers, plantation owners, and slave shippers. They became important merchants and financiers in the American South and helped to grease the wheels of the plantation economy, making slavery more profitable than ever. This in-depth study of the Jews’ essential role in the transatlantic slave trade has never been successfully challenged in over 25 years.
