Totem and Taboo

One of the great classics of psychology. f the to subjects, taboo is the more easily understood because, as Freud wrote in the preface, 'taboo still exists in our midst.' Totem is a more obscure concept because it is more remote from us, but here Freud seeks out the original meaning of totemism...
