This book made me laugh, cry, think about life and career
Hey, I'm a game dev myself, so this review is heavily biased.
First of all, a narrative about games is so good to see since most of the books on the theme are technical or autobiographical.
Like I said in the title, this book made me laugh about the silly things friends do when they're comfortable around each other, made me cry... A lot of times (this book is very angsty and emotional sometimes), and made me think about life and career because... Well, I work with games, I'm a designer, I'm engaged to another game dev, this book hits a little too close to home, and it makes me question a lot of things: Why am I working with games? Do I know how to make a good game? The same stuff the characters go through.
Overall, it's a great book!
Just be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions because, oh boy, it's fast and it's full of loops.
