Demorei para pegar este livro para ler porque estava com o c* na mão de me decepcionar depois de não ter curtido nem um pouco The Impossible Girl.
Embora este livro não chegue aos pés do refinado A Beautiful Poison, eu curti bastante a leitura, os personagens e o pano de fundo histórico.

Meu Deus, quando a gente para para pensar sobre os poucos direitos das mulheres, e as descobertas que a Medicina ainda não tinha feito quanto a doenças, vacinas, remédios e tratamento, a gente pensa como as pessoas daquela época sobreviveram a tanto desconhecimento e ignorância.
