Resenha: Night of the Dragon

Night of the Dragon seguiu praticamente as mesmas linhas do livro anterior. Houve muita ação e tensão desde o início, enquanto os personagens se preparavam para cumprir seu objetivo e enfrentar o desafio final. Tudo meio que acabou indo para onde eu esperava, então não houve surpresas para mim ao longo do caminho.

Acho que o maior choque que tive ao ler isso foi amar os capítulos de Tatsumi kkkk Eu realmente gostei do desenvolvimento de seu personagem aqui e como ele teve que lidar com a questão de dividir seu corpo etc conforme a história avançava. Isso deu lugar para algumas cenas muito legais e eu pensei que Kagawa explorou isso muito bem ao longo do livro. Yumeko ainda era um problema, já que eu continuava pensando que ela era um pouco ingênua demais.

As reviravoltas na história foram todas muito óbvias para mim, embora eu tenha gostado de ler sobre as consequências de algumas delas! Perto do final havia muita coisa acontecendo e eu me diverti bastante esperando os personagens saírem daquelas situações e vendo como tudo se desenrolava. Eu direi que fiquei extremamente chateada com a morte dos únicos dois personagens secundários queer no livro porque eu acho que, neste ponto, nós queers deveríamos viver e ter finais felizes :)

No geral, esta foi uma série sólida de fantasia YA com todos os clichês que estamos acostumados. Foi divertido, até certo ponto, e estou feliz por ter lido, já que os trechos de ação eram todos super legais.
