Esse livro tem um elemento que eu descobri esse ano que curto bastante que é a relação de irmãs, mas também tem reality show!!! O que rola é que nessa cidade pequena existem dois restaurantes de frango frito bem conhecidos, um liderado pela mãe das protagonistas e o outro pela sogra de uma delas. Claro que esse romance foi uma coisa bem Romeu e Julieta, as famílias eram super rivais e quando o rapaz faleceu a protagonista ficou no restaurante rival da sua família. Os restaurantes estão com problemas e ela se inscreve no Food Wars, esse reality que promove uma competição entre restaurantes dando 100k para o vencedor.
O que me fez tirar nota do livro é que, embora tenha sido rápido de ouvir o audiobook, eu não enxerguei tanto o processo de evolução das personagens, principalmente da Mae (a irmã mais distante), parece que eles estavam no mood briga e do nada fizeram as pazes. Enfim, divertido num geral.
