Carlton Morley garantiu sua fortuna e sua preeminência como o implacável inspetor-chefe da Scotland Yard. Mas quando menino, ele era outra pessoa. Um gêmeo, um ladrão e um assassino. Agora ele persegue a noite, em busca de redenção e vingança. Pru é esperada é ser a mulher perfeita, mas antes que ela seja presa para o resto de sua vida, ela sonha uma noite de desejo. E nesse dia, a vida dele muda para sempre.

Sou apaixonada pelo querido Inspetor, ele é um personagem muito bem construído. A Pru é mais uma personagem maravilhosa, no começo definitivamente senti falta de profundidade, mas o seu crescimento é lindo, ela é muito forte e uma boa detetive. Eles sofrem e lutam contra o amor, mas isso acaba sendo impossível, o Carl é tão carinhoso com a Pru! Mas claro, como um bom romance de Kerrigan, tem muitas cenas quentes são maravilhosas. O mistério e aventura foram tão bons quantos os anteriores.

Já estou louca para o próximo livroooo! De uma chance a essa série, eu realmente sugiro ler desde o começo, vale a pena a aventura.
