O autor comenta na introdução que seu objetivo era fazer uma biografia da Eva Braun e não de Hitler (como acontece em outras biografias que acabem perdendo o foco), só pra poucas páginas depois literalmente começar uma biografia de Hitler. Mas não para aí, ao longo de todo o livro o autor insiste em bombardear o leitor com toda e qualquer especulação/fofoca que já foi escrita ou dita sobre Hitler, como: que ele era gay; que tinha deformidade nos órgãos genitais; que tinha problemas de gases; que gostava que mulheres urinassem e defecassem sobre ele; que ele teve 2 filhos; questiona se o casal realmente cometeu suicídio ou foi assassinado; além de usar comentários estranhos como quando diz que os dois eram “drama queens”, “atores” como “Lady Gaga e Madonna” e insiste em comparar os Hitler’s com os Kennedy’s.

A falta de registros e documentos históricos sobre a biografada sempre será um problema para os biógrafos, mas nas partes que o autor efetivamente fala sobre a Eva Braun, consegue apresentar de forma limitada como era sua vida, apesar de sempre apresentar relatos diametralmente opostos de pessoas que a conheceram, seja sobre sua personalidade, ou sobre sua participação política ou influência sobre Hitler.

Um ponto forte do livro são as fotografias, incluindo tanto as fotos tiradas por Eva Braun como as que ela aparece, além de pessoas de seu círculo imediato.

Blaine Taylor fez um belo trabalho nas obras “Mercedes Benz Parade And Staff Cars of the Third Reich” e “Hitler's Engineers - Fritz Todt and Albert Speer - Master Builders of the Third Reich”, mas aqui ele abandona qualquer seriedade profissional e autorrespeito e produz um livro de baixíssimo valor histórico.
