Um livro pra quem já é fã

Se você leu a trilogia Fronteiras do Universo, já está habituado ao universo de Lyra e seu dæmon Pantalaimon. Agora uma jovem mulher, Lyra passa pelos desafios de ser adulta e a perda da inocência e vivacidade de sua infância. Passagens excitantes, dolorosas, de vivacidade e até estressantes, o livro é um longo passeio por esse novo mundo de descobertas de Lyra. Apesar de longo e com algumas passagens que poderiam ser condensadas, a maneira que Pullman conta a história torna tudo interessante e e provoca no leitor grande curiosidade.
