When I started reading this book my expectation was astronomic, but honestly, I didn’t enjoy very much. The selection series is strongly responsible for my newly discovered passion for books, but maybe just like "dreamology" now that I read other books it may not shine as bright. Honestly, I ended reading because I don’t like to have it in my reading tracker reminding me that I didn’t finish and kinda for respect for the original series. The only story I really enjoyed was Marlee’s because I loved the way it was written going back and forth between the present and the past and I loved to know more about her relationship with Carter. I also was surprised by my enjoyment with the part about Celeste because it showed her in 3 totally different stages of the selection. During the first one, she was really confident and upright, although you can see that inside she is not as confident as on the outside. In the second part she is in serious doubt about what to do and how she is, and what is the healing to do to win the selection. In the third part that was when I started liking her in the original books, she is soooo different, she is definitely a better person, not perfect of course, but better. So that is basically it about this book. I wouldn’t read it again, but it is okay. OBS.: My disappointment with this book just made me be more sure that I probably won’t read the continuation of the series about America’s daughter
