A blogueira Carrie Sessarego divide seu livro em três partes, cada uma dedicada a três livros: Jane Eyre, Orgulho e preconceito, e O morro dos ventos uivantes. Ela aborda o livro, o cenário geral, as adaptações e oferece um veredito sobre cada um, listando os altos e baixos das adaptações.

Confesso, nunca ouvi falar dessa blogueira, mas enquanto lia esse livro eu fui atrás para saber mais informações (o blog é Smart bitches trashy books). De um jeito estranho, enquanto lia acabei me identificando com algumas das colocações da autora sobre os livros. Por exemplo: ela fala que foram as adaptações que abriram a mente dela para Orgulho e preconceito (comigo foi o mesmo), e que odiava O morro dos ventos uivantes mas passou a entender os temas e a história melhor depois. Além disso, como ela, minha leitura de Jane Eyre me fez respeitar a protagonista. O livro é bem curtinho, só tem 141 páginas, mas vale cada minuto.
