Eu gostei bastante do livro e acho que é uma ótima adição para os fãs de The Dragon Prince: ele aprofunda o desenvolvimento de mundo, explora as motivações e passados dos personagens de uma forma que (ainda) não foi feita na série, e apresenta cenas extras que não foram mostradas em tela. Mas eu também me incomodei bastante com a escrita, que é bem simplista e, honestamente, meio ruim; e eu não acho que isso pode ser justificado pelo fato do livro ser direcionado principalmente ao público infantil, porque eu já li diversos livros infantis com escritas maravilhosas. Eu também não acho que o livro funciona sozinho, sem a série, mas acredito que essa não era a intenção dos autores, então isso não é tão ruim. Novamente, se você é um fã da série, eu recomendo bastante o livro, principalmente se você deseja um olhar mais profundo nos personagens.
