Confuso... mas deu tudo certo

Finalmente terminei as 1400 páginas que a Priest escreveu com tanta dedicação. E gostei bastante, principalmente perto do final.

Política, guerra, feitiçaria, romance e até pitadas de humor, Priest nos apresenta Sha Po Lang.
Confesso que foi uma leitura deveras difícil pra mim. Eu, como leiga em política, ficava bastante confusa em vários momentos (as notas da tradução sempre me salvavam kkk), mas dá pra ver quanta dedicação e pesquisa foram investidas nessa parte.
A guerra também é constante na obra, até seu último capítulo. Particularmente, cenas de luta não são minhas favoritas, ainda mais com a ambientação confusa em muitos momentos, mas até que não foi tão ruim.

Foi uma leitura complicada, com bastante descrição em algumas partes — na política, por ex —, e pouca em outras — na própria ambientação—, por isso eu simplesmente comecei a pular parágrafos inteiros.

Apesar desses detalhes, houve também o romance que realmente foi o que me fez terminar esse livro. A química e parceria dos ChangGu é muito boa, ambos são personagens interessantíssimos e que se completam muito bem.

Enfim, uma obra bastante interessante. Talvez um dia eu volte para reler.
